This week we are starting with a set of free golf themed craft papers. As with the fishing set the other week you may have well seen these papers before as they have been given away at various times. They have never however been on the actual site before so we thought it was time to add them.
In addition to the golfing papers we also have another set of Zodiac papers, the second part of our Paint.net course and another piece of great free software for you.
Free Golf Themed Craft Papers.
As previously said you may have seen these free golf themed papers before. We have however updated the set since they were last given away. The set now contains 3d decoupage, pyramd papers, digi stamps and transparent PNG including a larger version of some of the pyramid papers!
p.s. We’re sure you will find these papers useful for birthday cards, retirement cards etc. Don’t for get we have general golfing backing papers etc in the sport section.
Free Software. FotoSketcher.
This is a brilliant piece of software, especially as it is free. Turn your photograph into a watercolour painting, an oil painting or make it look as it it were taken in the 50s ! I could spend hours using this program. As the program will also enable you to resize and add text to your images you could use it to make card fronts and notelets from your own images! It’s completely free to use, no ads or spy-ware etc (as long as you download it front the correct place) so why not give it a go. Available for windows only. You will find the link at the end of our review. (p.s. Our review is for a slightly older version. It is now even better).
Taurus Zodiac Papers.
This is our 4th set of new Zodiac papers, this time featuring Taurus. Once again it is a basic set containing backing papers in various sizes plus insert sheets, tags and labels. Don’t forget we do have other zodiac papers on the site, the first basic set plus 3d decoupage and pyramid papers.
Paint.net Course. Part 2.
This second part of the course looks at resizing and cropping images in Paint.net. It also shows you how to add some of the 100s of available plugins to the program. Plugins are remarkable important as the add to the programs abilities. Over the next few lessons we will be using plugins which particularly suited to achieving some of the things which paper crafters will find useful. For a start this lesson will show you plugins which will manipulate text to make it circular etc.
Well I think that will give you plenty to go on this week. We hope you are enjoying the Paint.net course. Even if you don’t use Paint.net itself you will find some of the techniques relevant to other programs. Speaking of other programs, we haven’t forgotten the tile maker, it is still being worked on but unfortunately has turned into a bigger job the we first envisaged. Hopefully we will have some news for you soon.
