We now have a fantastic new online programme which enables you to make your own personalised backing sheets with text on. There are lots of option for font,, font colour, font size, filled or tiled, plain coloured background or templates.

We have kept it all as simple as possible and you can save any sheets you make to your computer to use again and again.

We really need your feedback on this new programme so please give it a go and let us know what you think.

You will find it here:
www.freecraftdownloads.co.uk/makeyourown.php

p.s. We are keeping it forum members only at the moment to see if it works OK and what the feedback is like. We will probably open it open for general use shortly.

I've just been thinking  ;D
When you use "make your own backing paper"  don't just limit yourself to "Plain White Card / Paper"
Experiment with different types of card / paper for different effects eg. Hammered card / paper,  Vellums,  Acetates,  Gloss/Matt photo papers,  -  Check whatever your printer will print on  (you should get a list in your printer settings)

Have fun  :)

The feed back is very much appreciated, it can be a bit hit and miss when you're developing these things.

Hi when you click the "pick colour" bit you should get a message towards the top of your browser saying the site is trying to open a popup, click on that and you can "aLLow" them for this site.

If that doesn't work just go "Tools (at the top of your browser) / Options / Content / Pop Up Block / Exceptions. The just type freecraftdownloads.co.uk and press allow.

Hope this helps

Glad you like it, just play around with it and don't forget to try spaces before and after your phrase especially when you are using the slopped writing.

Glad you like it Mary, I have just added to "Wing Ding" fonts which should allow a lot of extra papers to be made.

It is remarkably hard to do gold and silver as paper is plain rather than metallic! I have given it a shot and put two gold and 2 silver in the templates bit, unfortunately one just looks orange and another just differing shades of grey... the other 2 aren't too bad though ( I think )
