Here is our selection of free image viewers and organisers and photo viewers. This is quite a small selection as, whilst on the face of it there are lots of programs which can do this, once you weed out the ones which aren’t really free, those which are no longer actively supported and those which add extra programs to your system, there aren’t that many left.

Anyway here we have quality not quantity. Remember some of the other programs (some of the photo editors etc.) will help you organise your images in the same way. In the same way many image viewers and organisers can do some basic editing, colour correction, resizing and such like.

As with all of the free programs we list we suggestion you try them out and see which meets your needs the best.
