XnViewMP Media Browser Viewer and Converter is a remarkably useful piece of software especially if, like me, you have 100s if not 1,000s of photos and images on your computer. This well help you to sort them, classify them and make some basic edits to them.
In the thumbnail view you will be able to sort them, give the a rating, label and category. Once you have done this (if you wish) you can sort them any time you use the program again using these parameters. Also in this view you can move/rearrange the images as well as bulk convert them into other formats.
Open up a single image and you will have a whole new set of options. You can rotate the imge, crop it and even alter such things as it’s brightness, contrast and gamma etc. There are also setting for Shadow/Hightlight, Conbright/Gammasat, Levels and lots more. If this all sounds a bit to much it does have auto Level and Contrast options which seem to work remarkably well.
There is so much more to this program which I haven’t mentioned yet, it can play a slid show for you and do bulk renaming. In addition to a multitude of image formats it can also view videos in a small preview window) and play audio file.
If you have a lot of images, whether they be photos or graphics, I seriously suggest you give this Media Browser Viewer and Coverter a try. I have a feeling that after a couple of weeks of using it you will wonder how you ever did without!
